LISTENING
This show is so good! I've been on the edge of my seat every time I've watched Quantico since it first started last fall! The beautiful and talented, Priyanka Chopra, who plays Alex Parrish, does a phenomenal job setting the scene and captivating the audience. The show is packed with a talented cast that will have you asking yourself "who did it?" the whole time. (In no way have I been compensated for my review here, I'm just a teacher who can appreciate shows with an engaging storyline)
LOVING
Am I the only Cali girl who loves the rain? Especially when it's a light rain, on a Saturday morning, and you can hear the gentle taps of water on the window as you wake up in the morning! Considering the drought over here, let's pause for the fact that we even had this beautiful rain in Cali...moment of silence...continued gratitude moment...okay that was nice!
THINKING
To date, I have only one stamp in my passport (I went to Switzerland for Professional Development with EF Tours last summer...ahh-may-zing experience! *See pic below) And considering the fact that I'm a self-proclaimed "world traveler", I'd better get my butt in gear with planning a short trip for the summer. I've been blog stalking searching often for tips regarding traveling on a teacher's budget during the summer. Ready to put this new knowledge into use!
WANTING
Enough said here! I needed some "me time" this weekend to get a mani and pedi special done, but I ended up running errands, and then going out for dinner and a movie with friends...uhhhh next Saturday?!?!
NEEDING
I teach an awesome group of 5th graders for a Math and Science block each day. With state testing and 5th grade matriculation around the corner, it's time for a final academic push so the kiddos are prepared to enter middle school in a few short months. Let's remember that it's also that time of year when our students begin winding down and anticipating summer... So whatever I choose to implement has also got to be a "10" on the engagement meter! I'm thinking a new PBL for the remainder of the quarter that'll include lot's of technology and collaborative groups. Hmmm...
WHATEVER
Downloaded the ALL-Recipes app a few months ago, and now I can't stop referring to it for new meals. There is a ton of recipes for almost any occasion, and trying a new recipe makes me feel lke a master chef...Move over Chef Ramsey! Just made some delicious Turkey and Spinach Lasagna that was super tasty (*pats self on the back)...yummm...What recipes do you recommend?
Welp...off to finish this Quantico episode before bed...Night!
