My First Blog!

Ok...ok...ok...you got me! I have been stalking, intently reading, all of these wonderful blogs for months and months on end. Can anyone tell me why, or how, reading blogs can turn into an all day affair?! There are just so many great ideas, DIY projects, teaching strategies, and so on that can consume a whole day if you aren't careful. Needless to say, I've spent the majority of my summer break using Pinterest and blogs to navigate my plan of attack as I go in to my 3rd year of teaching. I am particularly excited about this year because  this will be my first year as a 4th grade teacher. (I taught a 5/6 combo for two years.) So, I'm not exactly sure what people will get out of my blog, becasue the ideas/projects I've seen so far seem way out of my league. But, I guess if nothing else, this blog will be a place where I share my life as an inner-city fourth grade teacher, as well as share links of the great ideas that I find on other blogs and websites.
